Kylie Jenner's Lip kit & Estee Lauder lipgloss Review
13:07Wooo!
Okay, so a lot of you are gonna ask, "Ruby, how did you get Kylie Jenner's lipkit, their far to expensive!?!?" Well, dear friends, let me tell you a story about how one of my closest and dearest best friends has one and she brought it to the pub last night for touch ups, either that or she read my blog and knew I was going to be out from my facebook status :p
So on the on the website, they're all sold out and are far too expensive for my taste, but then again I did spend £100 on Estee Lauder lipsticks and lip liners, don't judge me, okay? A girl has needs, lol. Also I do apologise for these shoots, since they were taken out in a dark area.
So, if you didn't know what a lip kit is, this is what they are. Basically you get the lip liner and the lipstick itself for £20, even though I wouldn't spend that much on something like this, for getting the lip liner AND the lipstick together is a pretty much perfect deal. We all know that lip liners can be far to much expensive, but then again so can lipstick liquid and for £20, that is not a bad price, what so ever.
I wouldn't fork out that much for it, but it can be worth the deal.
So, they box is generally really cute, it's not to heavy and not to bulky and it's def something you could carry around in your purse all day. It honestly looks far to cute, especially with the art design on the front with the lips, it matches the bottle which is great branding and it still tells you what colour you have, so you don't have to second guess it.
I like the style of it, and it's def something I could keep around in my back, or even in a little bag so I can keep it just for a touch up but that's where Estee Launder comes in for :p.
I gotta admit, the bottle keeps on the tradition with the box, the melted lipstick / gloss falling down the bottle is possible one of the best designs I've ever seen, it's not boring and it's not too fancy like some. It's just perfect, in every way.
After applying the lip liner to my lips, I felt you didn't really need to enchance to much, but it just covered so it looked well with the colour. The colour in the bottle is fantastic, it's not to nudey but it still has some colour to it.
I would def say that I would buy this colour, it looks great on the lips when finished. I did notice after applying the lip stick, you don't need as much, and it just glides over the lips, it does make them nice and soft like the website states, but even after 24 hours my lips are still soft. Possibly one of the best lipsticks that I've came across to do so.
This is optional, you don't have to do this but my friend whose lipstick it was, told me that if you put Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Liquid Lip Potion Naked Ambition to keep the lips and lipstick from cracking, so if you do suffer from cracks in the lips after wearing lip stick for far to long, then maybe this might be a good option for you.
You honestly don't need much to put on, like the Kylie Jenner lipstick, it just glides on and stays on top without giving it a gloss but still looking like a matte effect. It is possibly another one of the best lipsticks to wear, even just by itself.
Above is the finishing looking from using both lipsticks on top. I always didn't think Kylie Jenner's Lip Kit was one of the best things for the price of £20, but it sure is on my list of lipsticks to get in the future, obviously when they're not sold out. Possibly one of the nicest lipsticks and shades that I've ever come across, I think I will be buying this in the future. The Estee Lauder is also £21 which isn't bad. You can buy it from the website here.
